Jackson O. Brownlee is a former Circuit Judge, "AV" rated in Martindale Hubbell and a founding member of the firm. He is now Senior Counsel to the firm and continues to devote his time to a litigation and mediation practice. His experience includes cases involving patent, copyright, and other intellectual property rights on both trial and appellate levels. In the case of Lifetime Homes, Inc. vs. Walker Homes, Inc. he successfully defended a copyright case at both the trial and appellate level where the Plaintiff sought damages in excess of 13 million dollars. In the case of Determination Corp. vs. Eltec Instruments, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, he successfully defended a case involving an electronic sensor where the Plaintiff sought damages in excess of 10 million dollars. As a Circuit Judge, Trial Lawyer and Mediator, Mr. Brownlee has experienced a wide range of complex cases as well as the simplest of cases.
