John L. DeAngelis, Jr. practices in the area of intellectual property including patents, trademarks and copyrights. Mr. DeAngelis has extensive experience in patent prosecution of electronics and electro-mechanical technologies. He also has experience in software and technology licensing, technology transfer agreements, and drafting and negotiating license agreements for high-technology spin-offs. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. DeAngelis served as Senior Intellectual Property Counsel for Harris Corporation. Mr. DeAngelis is the Director of the Northwestern University Alumni Admission Council (Space Coast Chapter), President of the Northwestern University Alumni Club of Orlando and former treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the Melbourne Municipal Band. He is also an Adjunct Professor (mathematics) at Brevard Community College .
