Mr. Joseph Fischer is a registered patent attorney who concentrates his practice in patent application preparation and patent application prosecution. He has a particular emphasis on securing domestic and international patent protection for inventions in biotechnical areas, and also routinely prepares and prosecutes applications dealing with diverse mechanical-based inventions and chemistry. Mr. Fischer also provides services relating to negotiation and licensing of patent and trademark licenses, counseling clients with regard to trademark and copyright matters, and conducting patentability, infringement and freedom to operate analyses. Prior to practicing patent law, Mr. Fischer held research and management positions in the fields of immunodiagnostics, bioassay/toxicology, and aquaculture (details upon request). Throughout his professional life, he has demonstrated a willingness and ability to learn and quickly comprehend new subject matter in a wide range of biology and engineering fields.
