Daniel J. Ryan, a registered patent attorney, practices intellectual property law, with particular focus on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. While attending law school, Mr. Ryan worked as a patent agent for Siemens Corporation, prosecuting patents in the automotive, power generation, materials, automation, and industrial systems fields. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Ryan worked for many years as a mechanical engineer in the automotive and power generation industries. He is well versed in mechanical/electro-mechanical systems, automotive, and aero-space technologies, as well as analog and digital data acquisition techniques and systems. Mr. Ryan’s extensive engineering experience and his legal training enable him to understand new technologies and to communicate effectively with clients concerning their inventions.
